A Huge set was erected at Ramoji film city for Nagarjuna’s Gaganam which will be directed by Radha Mohan of Aakasamantha fame. Producer for this movie is Dil Raju. 60-70% of the movie will be completed at this set. Replica of tirupathi airport was constructed with a Aeroplane. A massive budget of 1.5 crores is spent on this set. The movie is going to be an action thriller based on a true incident of Kandahar hijack episode and the story is all about how Nag saves a passenger flight that is being hijacked. Nagarjuna is said to be playing the role of a cop & Prakash Raj is playing the role of a Terrorist in the film.

This movie is a biligual and the Tamil Version is produced by Prakash Raj. Nagarjuna is doing a direct tamil movie after Rakshakan (Rakshakudu in Telugu) which released long back. Title for the Tamil version is Payanam.

The above poster came in all leading magzines in Tamil Nadu when the movie started shooting.

How are these  releated?? I’ll tell you. Andhra people can’t forget Nagarjuna’s Manmadhudu directed by Vijaya Bhaskar and written by Trivikram Srinivas. The comedy scenes in that movie are still enjoyable on TV. Manmadhudu was remade into Kannada as Aishwarya and the same movie is now coming into telugu as Kantri Mogudu. Producers are trying to cash on Deepika Padukone who is the hot favourite of the masses.

Nag Chaitanya’s second film Ye Maya Chesave is released and getting mixed response, Meanwhile, the stage is set for the launch of his third film under the direction of newcomer Ajay Bhuyan, who was associated with Suresh Productions and Venkatesh in the past.

Kamakshi Kala Movies, the banner which has produced Nagarjuna’s Kedi, is producing the movie. D Siva Prasad Reddy’s 25th year in the industry is market by these two releases, one of which has already been released, while the second one will go on the sets in March.

The director is currently touring the US to select the locations. The regular schedule will begin in the month of April.

In a press release, Mr. Reddy said, “We are happy to announce a film with Nag Chaitanya in our silver jubilee year. We are introducing Ajay Bhuyan as the director with this one.”

Cinematography is by VS Gnanasekhar. The rest of the star cast and technical crew are yet to be announced. The film will boast of high technical values.

Naga Chaitanya’s Eem Maaya Chesave Audio is going to be released this Friday(5th February). Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Nagarjuna are going to attend this event. Eem Maaya Chesave is directed by Gowtham Vasudeva Menon, who previously directed Gharshana with Venkatesh.

Mahesh Babu’s sister Manjula is producing this movie on Indira Productions. Music is composed by none other than AR Rehman who received Grammy Award 2 days back. There are lot of expectations on this audio and movie also. Sony Music is going to release this album

As per inside sources, the movie is based on Tamil Movie ‘Vinaithandi Varuvayaa’ starring Simbu and Trisha. Tamil audio was released few days back and already became a biggest album ever in terms of sale.

Mass director V Samudra, who made unsuccessful attempt with the heroine-oriented film Mallepuvvu, starring Bhumika last year, is now gearing up for the second such film.

This time, the heroine is none other than Anushka, who ripped out a sensation with her Arundhati all over the state. The film is titled as Panchakshari. Akkineni Nagarjuna is the presenter.

Sairatna Creations banner is making the film, with Bommadevara Ramachandra Rao producing it. A media briefing was arranged at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. Anushka, Nazar, Chandra Mohan, Ravi Prakash, Jayavani, producer Ramachandra Rao and director Samudra were present.

Nazar said: “We know the film producer Ramachandra for the last several years. He graduated himself from a makeup man. His dedication to the film industry is amazing and we wish him all the best.”

Akula Prasad, the writer, said: “The film would present the entertainment in tune with the title.”

Samudra said: “It is a great occasion for the Telugu film industry as Ramachandra is making his debut as producer after working for about 35 years a makeup man. A strong subject and the presence of Anushka are going to be our major strengths.”

Anushka said: “Ramachandra has been asking me to do a film for him right from the start of my career in Tollywood. I told them that I would definitely honor his request, but it would take some time as I had to settle first. Now, I feel great to be keeping my word. There would be no link between my previous film Arundhati and this current Panchakshari.”

The film would be finished in three schedules and would be released in April
