Arya_300310“Good-looking guys turning to be baddies” is the new trend in films these days. Tamil Actor Arya is the latest to have joined the group of handsome villains in Telugu films. Arya is the villain in Allu Arjun’s latest film Varudu, directed by Gunasekhar.

Notably, for Varudu, Arya has reportedly been paid a whopping Rs. 2 crores, the highest sum ever paid to an antagonist in Tollywood so far! However, the actor said that he did not want to discuss how much he got for the film.

Talking about his experience working with Allu Arjun, Arya said: “He might be a flamboyant personality on screen, yet off it he’s amazingly down-to-earth and friendly, despite being a reigning star. Actually, I haven’t seen him sitting quiet even for a moment. He’s extremely energetic. We went to pubs and partied a lot. I’d say that partying and Bunny are synonymous and we had a great time together.”

Bunny_290310Rajamouli who is known as the most successful director in TFI is going to direct a movie with Bunny as Hero. Both the director and Hero are known for their successful movies at the Box Office.

If sources are to be believed, Rajamouli is planning to do a movie with Bunny. Danayya who produced Varudu is going to produce this movie. Rajamouli is currently busy working on Maryada Ramanna with Sunil. After completing Maryada Ramanna, He will be start working on Prabhas movie which was supposed to be a subject on Freedom fighters. so, it would take another year or 2 to start Bunny’s project.

There will be lot of expectations on this combination as there are no failure movies for both.

Arya2_90210Stylish star Allu Arjun’s Arya 2 dubbed into Malayalam which released last Friday all over Kerala has been declared a super hit by the trade.

The film released in 65 screens and has grossed Rs 67 lakhs in three days, which by any yardstick is fantastic!

The film has taken a kind of opening in the state similar to what Malayalam superstar Mammootty and Mohanlal receives for their big masala films!

It is running to packed houses even in smaller stations in Kerala like Perinthalmanna, Attingal, while in Ernakulam Kavitha, Kozhikode Apsara it has taken 95 to 98 percent opening.

But what is surprising is that Tamil superstar Ajith’s Aasal which also released worldwide on February 5 could not release in Malabar and Travancore areas (75 percent of the box-office) of Kerala, as theatres in these areas preferred to screen Arya2.

Aasal has only been released in Cochin area of the state and will release in other areas only next Friday.

Today Allu Arjun whose all Telugu films have been dubbed into Malayalam is a craze in the state and is rated as the second biggest “other language actor” with an opening in Kerala.

But now questions are being asked in the trade, is whether he will overtake Ilayathalapathy Vijay, the number one “other language actor” in the state?

Tamanna_020210Tamanna is confirmed as the heroine of Allu Arjun’s next movie Badrinath directed by VV Vinayak. Earlier Hasika was offered the role, but due to huge remuneration demand by Hansika, the offer has gone to Tamanna.

Tamanna immediately accepted the offer as she thinks that working with Vinayak and Allu Arjun will bring back her stardom. Tamanna’s last telugu movie was Konchem Istam Konchem Kastam which is a average film.
